The Fresh Market is committed to making everyday eating extraordinary for our guests. We are looking for a new team member who will help deliver on this mission as part of our Deli/ CMS team.
As our Assistant Deli Manager, you assist the Deli and CMS Manager with inventory management, pricing integrity, training, and other operational processes requiring attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position that drives results while delivering an impeccable guest and team member experience.
Responsibilities- Greeting guests and proactively assisting them with accurate and timely information
- Making recommendations and accommodating requests
- Managing order guides, ordering deadlines, and reducing shrink/damage
- Properly receiving and stocking goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels
- Directing teams to handle, slice, and prepare a variety of the department’s meat, cheeses, and CMS throughout the day
- Engaging, motivating, coaching, and training team members on the job and through The Fresh Market’s internal training platform to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner
This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications At a minimum, what you’ll need- 3 plus years of experience in a guest service role
- 1 plus years of leadership experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be at least 18 years of age
