Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Job Description:

This role provides a distinctive and delightful customer experience while handling pharmacy sales and operations at a Walgreens pharmacy.

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑ups and companion items; assist with OTC products and lead customers to aisles when possible.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandises.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete required PPLs as directed by the manager or corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
