Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Delray Beach, FL
. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and fostering a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors by providing directions and responding to inquiries related to security-related matters.
  • Support emergency response efforts as required, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns in accordance with site protocols.
  • Observe and report security-related incidents or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Minimum Requirements
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
  • Applicants must be able to work in environments where vaccines may be required in a hospital setting.
  • Applicants must be able to work in environments that include a hospital morgue.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
