Senior Accountant

PVS Buttar CPA’s is an accounting firm located in Delta, BC. We specialize in personal tax returns, corporate tax returns, trust returns, tax consulting, review and compilation engagements, and full-service bookkeeping. We have been established for 30 years and have a strong reputation in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Our Delta office is looking for a full time Senior Accountant with the following skills to join our fast-growing team:

• Efficiently prepare year-end compilation engagements, financial statements and corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
• Efficiently prepare personal tax returns, GST returns and PST returns
• Efficiently prepare trust returns for a variety of clients (estates, family trusts, etc.)
• Complete full cycle bookkeeping for corporate clients
• Actively participate in client year-end meetings, and grow strong relationships with clients
• Work collaboratively with team members and clients
• Have a desire to grow with our team and push for senior management roles within the firm

• You should possess 3-5 years of experience in public practice with Compilation or Assurance engagements, along with Corporate and Personal tax returns
• You must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, demonstrating flexibility in managing workload demands and handling multiple tasks as required
• You display strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• You want to improve your technical skills and your ability to address complex problems in an efficient manner
• You are familiar with Caseware, Taxprep, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, and Excel

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year. Salary is determined by your skills, experience, and qualifications.
