Join as the Regional Controller to lead financial reporting for BC and AB sites. This role features comprehensive oversight of accounting practices and team development.
The Regional Controller will manage accounting activities to produce accurate financial statements and reconcile monthly volume flows. You will oversee a diverse team of eight, ensuring effective billing processes, budget preparation, and maintaining strong internal controls. Your analytical skills will drive operational improvements in collaboration with site General Managers and finance directors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all regional accounting functions
• Lead and develop an accounting administrative team
• Manage revenue cycles for accurate billing and collections
• Ensure timely updates of purchase orders
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce
• CPA designation preferred
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting for manufacturing
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Ability to travel to Alberta sites as needed
