The Accounting Administrator provides accounting and administrative support that contributes to the efficient operation of a Finance team and office. This position offers a variety of responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys balancing financial administration with general office support while working collaboratively with multiple departments.
What You'll Do- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
- Assist withmonth-end accounting processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Prepare reports and reconcile financial information.
- Respond toroutine accounting and administrative inquiries.
- Provide general administrative support that contributes to the efficient day-to-day operation of the office.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Occasional travel to other Boundary Group locations throughout the Lower Mainland may be required to support business needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Two to five years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting administration experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while producing accurate work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with accounting or ERP software.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is considered an asset.
