Base pay range
CA $27.00 / hr - CA $29.00 / hr

Reporting to the Delivery Manager, the Dispatcher is responsible for the assignments of trucks and routes, generate delivery reports, and serves as a point of contact for the Delivery Team, Logistics Team, vendors and other relevant departments.
Compensation : $27-29 / hourly
As a Dispatcher you will
- Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day as needed
- Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers
- Act as a communication liaison by answering incoming phone calls from drivers on the road and vendors
- Demonstrate ownership for maintaining order capacity, including third-party requirements
- Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries
- Maintain constant contact with delivery teams to ensure deliveries are going as planned
- Work proactively with associated departments, suppliers, and servicers to resolve issues on time
- Have basic knowledge of Trail’s Delivery process and troubleshoot delivery issues with support from Delivery Supervisors.
To be successful in this role you have
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dispatching environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced work environment
- The ability to multitask as well as take the appropriate action with minimal supervision
- Ability to deal with customer service issues professionally and efficiently
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- The ability to deal with complex situations where information is difficult to obtain
- Comfortable prioritizing a busy workload, and think both independently and in a team setting
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and some holidays
- Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area.

- This position is for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts
