The Sales Specialist reports to the Sales Manager and is a critical point of contact for Custom Cubes. This role manages incoming leads across all communication channels (web inquiries, phone, email, etc.). We seek a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering strong customer service, actively listening to client needs, and converting leads into satisfied customers using our established sales strategies.
Responsibilities- Sell empty shipping containers, modified shipping containers, container rentals, and related equipment.
- Prepare detailed estimates and pricing for all incoming leads; confirm project specifics with the Structures & Estimation Manager as needed.
- Utilize internal systems and software for managing the customer and project pipelines up until the handoff to the operations team.
- Assist walk-in customers and facilitate customer inventory viewings at the yard.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through consistent, customer-centric interactions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding project scope, estimates, pricing, and any concerns.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward customers at all times.
- Accurately document all customer interactions, transactions, comments, and concerns.
- Present sales information, updates, and pipeline insights to Management upon request.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and consistently provide professional customer support.
- Continuously develop product and project knowledge to effectively serve customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and contribute positively to revenue growth.
- Experience in a customer service or support role, or a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including active listening skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.
- Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and participate in continuous training.
- Technologically proficient, with a strong aptitude for learning new software and navigating ERP systems.
- Highly organized and meticulous in detail management.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is considered a valuable asset.
