Become a key part of Delta's Parks, Recreation & Culture team as a Cashier/Receptionist. This on-call position emphasizes excellent public service and efficient registration processing.
The City of Delta offers an engaging role in its recreation facilities for those who enjoy working with the community. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance on programs, processing registrations, and managing financial transactions. Flexibility for work hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist patrons with queries about programs and schedules
• Efficiently process payments and registrations
• Maintain courteous interactions with the public
• Reconcile records accurately for transactions
• Carry out other assigned tasks as required
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent, including commercial courses
• At least 3 years of relevant cashier or clerical experience
• Flexible schedule for on-call opportunities
• Strong customer service background required
• Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
