Position: Foods Teacher and PHE Instructor Opportunity
Delview Secondary is seeking a dedicated Foods and PHE Teacher beginning September 8, 2026. This role focuses on equipping students in Foods 9/10, Foods 11/12, and Physical Education 10 with essential skills.

As a full-time educator, you will engage learners in 1 block of Foods 9/10, 3 blocks of advanced Foods 11/12, and 3 blocks of Physical Education 10. This term position will conclude on June 30, 2027, or upon the return of the incumbent teacher. Applicants are required to submit a resume, cover letter, and BC Teaching Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students through Foods 9/10 curriculum

• Teach practical skills in Foods 11/12

• Conduct Physical Education 10 classes actively

• Monitor and assess students' learning outcomes

• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid BC Teaching Certificate

• Bachelor's degree in Education or similar

• Relevant teaching experience is an asset

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Enthusiasm for teaching life skills through food and sport
