Saulteaux Heritage School is accepting applications for the Grade 5 Teacher. Saulteaux Heritage School is located on Saulteaux First Nation, approximately 40 km north of North Battleford, SK.
Responsibilities- Focus on improving instruction and meeting the needs of the learner
- Nurture, support and guide young learners
- Prepare engaging lessons and interactive learning activities/materials
- Conduct formal and informal assessment of students
- Incorporate appropriate technology and media in lesson planning
- Facilitate learning activities both within the classroom setting and outdoors
- Participate in co-curricular school activities
- Promote and maintain high standards of behaviour, respect and safety within the classroom
- Support families with open, ongoing communication
- Prepare course timelines and materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts
- Prepare lesson plans with clear objectives that follow SK curriculum standards
