Position: Southpointe Academy Visual Arts & STEM Teacher
Elevate student learning as the Junior School Visual Arts and STEM Teacher at Southpointe Academy, a prominent International Baccalaureate institution. Inspire young learners to think critically and creatively through inquiry-based education.

This role focuses on students from Kindergarten to Grade 5, encouraging artistic exploration and technological innovation. You will collaborate with faculty and families to deliver engaging learning experiences within a supportive community. Your work will significantly enrich the school’s educational offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver inquiry-based Visual Arts curriculum

• Implement diverse instruction techniques in art education

• Foster creativity and critical thinking in students

• Lead initiatives promoting art and STEM collaboration

• Manage materials and resources for both studios

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent

• Valid BC Ministry of Education Certificate

• First-Aid certification necessary

• Strong communication skills for community engagement

• Experience in collaborative educational environments
