This position at Delta Secondary seeks a passionate educator dedicated to supporting students with mental health and emotional challenges. You will implement inclusive strategies using a strength-based approach to foster resilience and growth. A collaborative mindset is essential as you work with classroom teams and develop personalized support plans to drive student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement Individual Education Plans
• Support emotional and social student needs
• Collaborate with other educators for success
• Provide individualized learning opportunities
• Coordinate support with Learning Services and agencies
Requirements:
• Master’s in Inclusive Education or relevant courses
• Proven secondary teaching experience
• Expertise with trauma-sensitive education
• Experience with Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Current CPI training desirable
