Delta School District is seeking a dedicated Secondary ELL Teacher to enhance educational experiences for students in grades 10-12. This position emphasizes a strength-based approach, utilizing a UDL framework to enable access to the curriculum. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments, ensuring every ELL student reaches their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach ELL blocks and manage student cases

• Develop and assess AIPs for ELL students

• Coordinate with content area teachers for student support

• Share information and strategies to aid ELL students

• Implement UDL strategies in the classroom

Requirements:

• Diploma or Master’s in English Language Learning preferred

• At least 3 courses in English Language Learning

• Strong collaboration skills with staff and parents

• Ability to develop individualized plans

• Valid/pending BC Teaching Certificate required
