Inspire young musicians at Immaculate Conception as a Band Teacher for Grades 6 and 7. Teach classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and participate in dynamic school concerts.
Immaculate Conception seeks an enthusiastic and faith-filled Band Teacher for students in Grades 6 and 7. Classes are scheduled on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. You will have opportunities to lead students in two concerts each year: one at Christmas and another in June.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging band classes for Grades 6 and 7
• Prepare students for Christmas and June concerts
• Foster a love for music in a supportive setting
• Collaborate with faculty for enriching experiences
• Provide mentorship to young musicians
Requirements:
• Strong background in music education
• Ability to connect with students in a diverse environment
• Passion for teaching and mentoring youth
• Faith-driven approach to education
• Flexibility to teach scheduled classes
