Join Immaculate Conception as an enthusiastic Band Teacher for Grade 6 and 7 students, offering engaging classes that culminate in seasonal concerts. Make a difference in students' musical development.
Immaculate Conception is on the lookout for a dynamic Band Teacher passionate about music education for Grades 6 and 7. Classes take place on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM and Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. You will lead students in two annual concerts, enhancing their performance skills while promoting teamwork and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and inspire students in band classes
• Organize and direct annual Christmas and June concerts
• Engage students in a faith-based learning environment
• Mentor young musicians to reach their potential
• Collaborate across the school community for concerts
Requirements:
• Background in music education is essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Faith-oriented and culturally aware approach
• Ability to inspire middle school students
• Availability for afternoon classes
