Shape community engagement as a Librarian 1 at Fraser Valley Regional Library in Tsawwassen. This temporary role revolves around customer service excellence and program delivery.
As a Librarian 1, you will oversee the planning and execution of programs while ensuring exceptional service delivery to library patrons.
Your role includes teamwork and mentoring, while adapting programs to meet the diverse needs of the community and showcasing your knowledge in library systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative library programs and events
• Lead and supervise a team for optimal customer service
• Deliver reference and readers’ advisory services
• Organize library activities for all ages and abilities
• Maintain inventory and administrative functions efficiently
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Library Science from an accredited institution
• Introductory supervisory training or equivalent experience
• Up to six months related work experience
• Valid B.C. Driver's Licence (minimum level ‘N’)
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
