Position
French Instructor for Gr 1-7
Start Date:
September 8, 2026 – June 15, 2027
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience teaching French in an elementary setting
Eligibility for BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification (if applicable)
Legally able to work in Canada
Current Criminal Record Check & First Aid Certification
Your Role
Create a fun and engaging informal French program for students in Gr 1-4
Develop and implement French language instruction for students in Gr 5-7 that meets BC Ministry of Education learning and reporting requirements
Prepare informal and formal reports that adhere to the BC Reporting Policy
Foster a warm, respectful, and developmentally rich community
Communicate effectively with families and maintain required documentation
What We Offer
Continuing contract after successful two-year cycle
Competitive hourly wage, starting at $40/hr, commensurate with education and experience
