French Instructor for Gr 1-7

Start Date:

September 8, 2026 – June 15, 2027

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience teaching French in an elementary setting
• Eligibility for BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification (if applicable)
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Current Criminal Record Check & First Aid Certification

• Create a fun and engaging informal French program for students in Gr 1-4
• Develop and implement French language instruction for students in Gr 5-7 that meets BC Ministry of Education learning and reporting requirements
• Prepare informal and formal reports that adhere to the BC Reporting Policy
• Foster a warm, respectful, and developmentally rich community
• Communicate effectively with families and maintain required documentation

• Continuing contract after successful two-year cycle
• Competitive hourly wage, starting at $40/hr, commensurate with education and experience
• A vibrant, experienced team that values collaboration
