Montessori Lower Elementary Lead Directress or Co-Directress

Start Date:

August 24, 2026 – June 30, 2027

• Montessori Certification (Elementary 6–9 and/or Casa 3–6)
• Bachelor s Degree preferred
• Experience in a Montessori elementary setting
• Eligibility for BC Teacher Regulation Branch certification (if applicable)
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Current Criminal Record Check & First Aid Certification

• Create and guide a high-quality Montessori prepared environment for 6–9-year-olds
• Foster a warm, respectful, and developmentally rich community indoors and outdoors
• Communicate effectively with families and maintain required documentation
• Meet BC Ministry of Education learning and reporting requirements
• Collaborate as a lead or co-guide in a professional, supportive environment
• Engage in ongoing professional development

• Continuing contract after successful two-year cycle
• Competitive salary starting at a base of $60,000 annually, and increasing by education and experience.
