Cultural Services Programmer

Become a Cultural Services Programmer with the City of Delta, focusing on arts and community recreation. Oversee program staff and implement innovative cultural programming in North Delta Centre for the Arts.

This role entails planning and delivering community programs, evaluating participation, and developing new activities based on interests. You will coordinate facility usage, manage schedules, and supervise staff, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver community recreation and arts programs

• Coordinate schedules and ensure facility safety

• Support and supervise staff and volunteers

• Promote events through community outreach

• Maintain records and track budgets

Requirements:

• Experience in community recreation or arts administration

• Knowledge of recreational principles and practices

• Ability to coordinate and evaluate programs

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License in British Columbia

• Post-secondary education in relevant fields preferred
