Position: Delta Recreation Programmer Role
Join the City of Delta as a Recreation Programmer, supporting arts and cultural programs at North Delta Centre for the Arts. This hands-on role requires creativity and enthusiasm to engage the community through various programs.

You will oversee community recreation programs, coordinate staffing, and maintain effective relationships with local partners. Your responsibilities encompass program promotion and budget monitoring, aiming to enhance participation and community interest in the activities offered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage community arts and recreation programs

• Coordinate facility usage and ensure safety

• Train and oversee instructors and volunteers

• Engage with the community to promote events

• Monitor program budgets and maintain records

Requirements:

• Background in community recreation or arts is preferred

• Understanding of community engagement principles

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License for British Columbia

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
