MYP and DP Spanish Educator Wanted

Join Southpointe Academy as a Spanish Educator for the MYP and DP programs, fostering a love for languages among students starting August 2026. Emphasize inquiry-based learning and teamwork to enhance educational experiences.

We are looking for a passionate Spanish Educator for a temporary full-time role commencing in the  school year. This position involves creating engaging and supportive language lessons while building strong relationships within the school community. Successful candidates will work collaboratively to implement interdisciplinary approaches and dynamic language instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students' cognitive and social development

• Develop dynamic, inquiry-based language curricula

• Design authentic assessments and timely feedback

• Lead extracurricular language initiatives

• Maintain strong communication with parents and families

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education in Spanish or equivalent

• Teaching qualification from the BC Ministry of Education

• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferred

• Familiarity with IB programs is a plus

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
