Southpointe Academy is hiring a Spanish Teacher for the upcoming academic year, focusing on middle and senior students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to innovative education and will engage in creating a vibrant language program. This role invites enthusiastic teaching and participation in co-curricular activities that enrich student life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging lessons and assessments for diverse learners

• Implement inquiry-driven language education

• Build meaningful connections with students and families

• Participate in professional development tailored to IB standards

• Support extracurricular clubs and competitions in languages

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or related degree in Spanish

• Certificate of Qualification from the BC Ministry of Education

• 2 years teaching experience is preferred

• Training in IB MYP and DP desirable

• Strong commitment to promoting respect and curiosity
