MYP​/DP Spanish Teacher

Position: Full-Time MYP/DP Spanish Teacher Role
Lead the Spanish curriculum at Southpointe Academy as a full-time MYP and DP Teacher during the  school year. Engage students through a dynamic and inquiry-based approach to language learning.

As a member of Southpointe's dedicated teaching staff, you will work closely with middle and senior school students.

Your role involves crafting an engaging language program that promotes inquiry, curiosity, and strong connections with students. Collaborate with other educators to enhance instructional practices and celebrate diverse student experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver an inquiry-based language curriculum

• Support students by addressing individual learning needs

• Foster a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere

• Coordinate language-related extracurricular events and activities

• Maintain detailed records of student achievements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish or Education

• Valid teaching certification from BC Ministry of Education

• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred

• IB teaching experience is a plus

• Commitment to contribute to community and co-curricular programs
