Component Apprentice
Salary: $28.62 - $32.59 per hour
Your Tasks
The Apprentice is responsible for learning about disassembly, assembly, inspection, and test‑stand work on gas turbine engines and aeronautical components/accessories. Typical duties include implementing work plans by following instructions from various sources, using test and measuring equipment, recognizing and reporting defects on parts, assemblies, engines, and accessories, certifying the correctness of work and performing preliminary inspections, raising and creating repair documents, and ordering parts.
Our Requirements
Must have completed a recognized AME or GTE course or equivalent entry qualification.
Must have mechanical aptitude.
Must have knowledge of engine components/accessories.
Must possess good interpersonal skills, organizational skills and cooperate well with others.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
