As the Senior Pyrometallurgical Engineer, you will direct the design and optimization of lithium hydroxide and carbonate projects. This leadership role combines technical proficiency with team management, overseeing testing and compliance within pyrometallurgical systems. Your contributions will drive plant efficiency and mentor a new generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee technical aspects of engineering and commissioning
• Manage operations of kilns and associated equipment
• Conduct pilot-scale tests for process innovation
• Develop energy and mass flow models for processes
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
• At least 7 years of experience in pyrometallurgy
• Ability to become a registered Professional Engineer
• Hands-on experience with complex metallurgical processes
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
