Become a driving force in optics engineering at Photonic's British Columbia location. As a Principal Engineer, lead the development of groundbreaking optical sub-systems for quantum computing technologies.
This full-time position calls for seasoned professionals with over 15 years in optical engineering. You will lead teams, orchestrate optical designs and validate system performance, while enhancing collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders for integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop optical design validation flows and testing methods
• Lead optical architecture specification and modeling
• Oversee roadmap for fiber-based electro-optical components
• Fulfill programmatic requirements for reliability and performance
• Innovate by sourcing new component technologies
Requirements:
• Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant engineering
• 15+ years relevant optical industry experience
• Proven success in developing optical solutions
• Familiarity with fiber-based technology development
• Expertise in optical performance testing and analysis
