** What You’ll Get To Do:
*** Provide leadership in development and implementation of plant safety initiatives
* Oversee the optimization of production equipment, including kiln, grinding mills, and related processes and inputs including raw materials and fuels
* Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts in cooperation with the Maintenance Manager
* Coordinate refractory related activities, including selection, ordering, removal, installation, and maintenance of refractory history
** Who we are looking for:
*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
* Cement and/or heavy industrial setting experience required
* Previous leadership experience is an asset
* Proven communication and relationship management skills
* Problem solving skills and multi-discipline thinking
* Excellent working knowledge with a variety of software
* Safety and maintenance exposure is an asset
* Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
* Auto Cad experience nice to have
** Work Environment:
*** Role operates in a manufacturing location where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
