Position: Pyrometallurgist for Lithium Processing
Pursue a career with Mangrove Lithium in Vancouver as a Pyrometallurgist, specializing in lithium processing. Lead the design and optimization of advanced pyrometallurgical processes.

As a key member of Mangrove’s engineering team, you will influence the conversion of spodumene concentrate into valuable lithium products. This role demands a seasoned engineer with a strong background in pyrometallurgy, guiding projects from feasibility through to commissioning and ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead feasibility studies and detailed engineering processes

• Manage kiln and calciners selection, sizing, and operation

• Execute lab and pilot tests for innovative process development

• Create and validate energy and mass balance models

• Drive improvements in process efficiency and recovery rates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, or similar)

• 7-10 years of relevant pyrometallurgy experience

• Experience with designing complex metallurgical operations

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

• Knowledge of process simulation tools is a plus
