As a Component Mechanic, your responsibilities involve disassembling and assembling various aeronautical components while ensuring thorough inspections and testing. Utilize your mechanical knowledge of systems such as hydraulic and pneumatic components to identify defects and raise repair documents effectively. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute disassembly and assembly of aeronautical components
• Perform inspection and testing with precision equipment
• Document and report defects on parts and assemblies
• Create and manage repair documents, ordering parts as needed
• Provide technical guidance and advice to fellow team members
Requirements:
• Completed apprenticeship to Canadian transport standards
• One year of experience in component maintenance
• Experience with engines like the V2500 and CFM LEAP
• Intermediate skills in SAP and EDP software
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
