In this influential role, you will oversee the design of processes converting spodumene concentrate into lithium hydroxide and carbonate, enhancing the company’s innovative production methods. Your technical leadership will span from feasibility studies through to commissioning, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for process design and optimization
• Oversee the operation of essential metallurgical equipment
• Conduct process development through lab and pilot testing
• Develop process diagrams and validate energy balances
• Analyze efficiency and energy consumption metrics
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in lithium pyrometallurgy
• Capability to design complex metallurgical flow sheets
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Familiarity with simulation software such as SysCAD is beneficial
