Lead innovative automation projects with JLL as an Automation Manager in Delta, BC. Design, develop, and implement control systems to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
In this senior role, you will leverage your extensive experience in automation technologies, including PLC programming and troubleshooting, to drive performance in industrial processes. Focus on enhancing the reliability of equipment while mentoring apprentices and partnering with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in engineering principles will be key in optimizing MHE systems and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a technical expert in automation control systems
• Design, implement, and optimize control systems for efficiency
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC controllers and industrial networks
• Collaborate with operations and engineering for project delivery
• Analyze performance metrics and lead troubleshooting efforts
Requirements:
• 2+ years of hands-on PLC automation experience
• Proven leadership in training and mentoring automation engineers
• Proficiency in CMMS and stakeholder coordination
• Advanced English communication skills
