Reporting to the Manager of Government and Legislative Services, you will be a key facilitator in managing the relationships between Tsawwassen Government and leaseholders. Your responsibilities will include coordinating consultations, addressing service requests, and promoting involvement in government decision-making. This position requires a proactive approach to relationship building and policy advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engagement with the Leasehold Residents Advisory Committee
• Develop communication strategies for leaseholder consultations
• Prioritize and coordinate resident feedback responses
• Recommend public policy stances on local issues
• Collaborate with various government departments to fulfill obligations
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in public administration or communications
• Proven experience in local government consultancy
• Familiarity with First Nations laws and cultures is an asset
• Strong project management and communication capabilities
• Ability to adapt to changing project demands
