Position: Tsawwassen First Nation Policy Analyst Role
Contribute to the future of Tsawwassen First Nation as a Policy Analyst, focusing on strategic policy analysis and intergovernmental relations. Engage actively in legislative processes and community consultations.

As a Policy Analyst reporting to the Manager of Policy and Intergovernmental Affairs, you'll play a vital role in shaping the policy framework of the Tsawwassen Government. Your expertise will guide negotiations with external governments and support internal policy compliance. This position emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to advance Tsawwassen's legislative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and draft Tsawwassen regulations and policies

• Lead intergovernmental negotiations and engagements

• Support the implementation of the Tsawwassen Treaty

• Prepare briefing materials and strategic policy memos

• Facilitate community consultations and support the Advisory Council

Requirements:

• Degree in public administration or political science

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in policy analysis

• Familiarity with First Nations governance and legislations

• Excellent communication and project management skills

• Ability to analyze complex research data and respond swiftly
