Experienced Respiratory Therapist

Position: Experienced Respiratory Therapist Needed
Become an integral part of a respiratory therapy team as an Experienced Respiratory Therapist. Offer critical care services to patients and participate in a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic tasks.

This part-time, relief role lasts until February 2027, focusing on both patient assessments and the application of various therapeutic interventions. Your responsibilities will include monitoring respiratory equipment, analyzing referral data, and engaging in the education of both patients and staff regarding respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform airway management and equipment calibration

• Administer medical gas and aerosol therapies

• Monitor patient respiratory conditions and document findings

• Provide staff training on respiratory therapy devices

• Conduct arterial blood gas analysis and related tests

Requirements:

• Graduate in Respiratory Therapy with certification

• Eligible for membership with professional respiratory organizations

• At least one year of related experience in healthcare

• Current CPR Level C and NRP certification

• Strong organizational and communication skills
