As a Community Engagement Worker, you will be pivotal in advocating for the rights and choices of those you support.
Your role centers on nurturing relationships within the community, fostering independence while maintaining outstanding standards of health and safety for each individual.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote the rights and choices of the individuals supported
• Coordinate and facilitate community activities and volunteer opportunities
• Record daily activities and maintain health documentation
• Communicate with families and professionals to enhance support
• Implement and monitor Individual Service Plans
Requirements:
• High school diploma and related Community Support Worker certification
• Minimum of 2 years in community services
• Basic proficiency in American Sign Language
• Current Emergency First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Valid BC Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle
Support community integration and empowerment efforts at Pacific Coast Community Resources.
