In this role, you will utilize your expertise to assess and treat patients with mental health and addiction challenges. Your skills in communication, counseling, and crisis intervention will be vital in ensuring effective, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement recovery-oriented mental health and addictions treatments
• Monitor patient progress and document changes
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling
• Participate in health care policy development
• Conduct Detox assessments and crisis interventions
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Diploma from accredited Nursing program
• Two years of relevant experience in mental health
• Active registration with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Advanced assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
