In the role of Senior Care Aide at The Waterford, you'll play a crucial part in daily resident care under the supervision of the Nurse. The focus will be on delivering exceptional personal care, assisting with meals, and fostering community engagement. Your efforts will make a significant difference in the lives of seniors in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily personal care routines
• Set up and serve meals with care and attention
• Help with residents' mobility during meal times
• Monitor and report on changes in residents' health
• Encourage participation in various activities
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent certification
• Required Care Aide Certificate from an accredited school
• Minimum 2 years of relevant care home experience
• Proof of registration with BC Care Aide Registry
• Basic First Aid knowledge is an asset
