Part-Time Rehabilitation Therapist Position

The Good Samaritan Society seeks a Physical Therapist committed to rehabilitation for seniors. This part-time role offers flexibility in hours while making a difference in the lives of elderly residents in Alberta and British Columbia.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include providing physical rehabilitation services and supervising aides. You must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with active registration. Your compassion and resourcefulness in working with seniors are key to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective rehabilitation therapies to residents

• Mentor and oversee Rehabilitation Aide support

• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals

• Conduct patient assessments and document care

• Uphold high standards of health and safety

Requirements:

• Graduate from an approved Physical Therapy school

• Registered with the Canadian Physiotherapists’ Association

• Strong interest in elder care

• Current Criminal Records Check and clearance

• Completed tuberculosis screening within 12 months
