Health and Safety Representative

Position: Health and Safety Representative at Amazon
Join Amazon's Workplace Health & Safety team in Delta, BC as a Health and Safety Representative. Focused on first aid and health advocacy, you'll support a safe workplace for all Associates.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include assessing injuries, providing first aid, and coordinating care with medical professionals. You will facilitate workers' compensation and actively promote wellness by engaging with Associates on safe work practices. Your expertise will help cultivate a culture of safety within Amazon's dynamic workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver first aid support and referrals as needed

• Educate Associates on injury prevention and safety practices

• Keep detailed records of all medical care provided

• Manage workers’ compensation along with return-to-work processes

• Lead training sessions for first aid, CPR, and AED

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current first aid, CPR, and AED certification necessary

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

• Experience in health and safety preferred

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
