In this role, you will provide support under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, helping residents engage in mobility and daily activities.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring seniors experience improved wellbeing and comfort. Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and physical capabilities to meet the diverse needs of residents effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide residents with mobility and exercise assistance
• Support daily living needs such as dressing and toileting
• Transport residents for rehabilitation programs and activities
• Report changes in resident condition to health professionals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment
Requirements:
• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program required
• One year related experience or equivalent training
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work effectively with dementia patients
• Clear Criminal Records Check and tuberculosis clearance
