As a Business Systems Analyst, you will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. You are expected to document requirements, define scope and objectives of various initiatives. You will lead project discovery focusing on Inovatec's standard product set up and be accountable to cross‑link requirements with testing.
Responsibilities- Lead the discovery phase of projects to document clients' business requirements and project scope, using the Business Requirements Document (BRD). Responsible for obtaining client sign‑off on BRD.
- Document a set of conditions and outcomes that must be met before the project will be considered completed by preparing the Acceptance Criteria (AC). The BSA is responsible to obtain client sign‑off on AC.
- Own, manage, and ensure responsible work items flow through the established process in Jira.
- Accountable for achieving velocity and quality metrics related to BRD project stage, as set by Manager, BSA & CSD.
- Define and document end‑to‑end user acceptance testing (UAT) strategy and ensure our deliverables successfully pass this testing before engaging clients in business UAT.
- Lead client onboarding by providing client training sessions, and facilitate business UAT by end users. Represent the first point of contact for addressing client questions and concerns during UAT and client onboarding phase of the project. From time‑to‑time, on‑site visits to clients will be arranged in consultation with Manager, BSA & CSD.
- Contribute to the expansion of Inovatec's business and revenue by sharing learnings and insights with Leadership and proposing solutions that will contribute to business growth.
- Provide Project Managers with regular and timely updates on project progress, dependencies, and risks related to BSA tasks. Promptly and clearly elevate when scope or timelines are at risk due to internal or client‑related impacts.
- Participate in weekly L10 meetings and other internal activities as defined from time to time.
- 3+ years of SAAS implementation experience, preferably Fin Tech.
- University diploma, certificate, degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Self‑starter, achievement‑oriented, motivated, and proven problem‑solving.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the financial industry or accounting principles is considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills and subject matter knowledge.
