Position: Manager, IT Strategy & Governance at BC Ferries
Lead transformative IT initiatives as the Manager, Business Transformation Strategy & Portfolio Governance at BC Ferries in Victoria or Vancouver. Focus on strategic enterprise planning and governance to optimize technology delivery.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Business Transformation, this role requires a blend of strategic leadership in IT portfolio planning, project prioritization, and governance enforcement. You'll work on a 12-year capital refresh plan while collaborating across business units to ensure successful project funding. Your leadership will be critical in orchestrating enterprise-wide transformation and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the 12-year capital refresh plan for technology assets

• Oversee annual fiscal planning for IT investments

• Implement the enterprise IT intake process for new initiatives

• Guide project portfolio management funding with finance teams

• Develop executive-level reports and performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; MBA is a plus

• 10+ years in portfolio management and strategy

• Strong expertise in capital planning and governance

• Experience with executive reporting and prioritization

• Certification in Project Management (PPM/PMI) preferred
