Key Responsibilities:

• Provide American Sign Language interpretation for various school functions

• Prepare for interpreting by reviewing pertinent materials and concepts

• Supervise students during classroom and school activities

• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information

• Stay up-to-date with interpreting technology and practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary program in Visual Language Interpretation

• Minimum four years of interpreting experience

• Proficient in American Sign Language Level 8

• Valid class 5 driver's license

• Strong knowledge of Deaf culture and education
