Procurement Specialist at MTU Maintenance

MTU Maintenance Canada is seeking a Procurement Specialist for its Delta location. This full-time position focuses on strategic sourcing and procurement in the aerospace sector.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will purchase general and specialized materials while evaluating vendor performance and pricing. You will be instrumental in resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely procurement processes. Your responsibilities will include developing alternative sources and managing ongoing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and analyze price quotations from vendors

• Maintain procurement prices in the system

• Monitor supplier performance and conduct evaluations

• Place and track purchase orders proactively

• Interact with internal teams to address material needs

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• At least three years of materials management experience

• Training in purchasing/supply chain management

• Strong analytical skills, especially in inventory

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
