Custodian, Casual Position

While working in a team environment, this position will ensure the daily operational, maintenance, and custodial duties of County facilities.

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Janitorial or related labour experience working in a safety sensitive environment
• Knowledge of commercial janitorial standards
• Current First Aid certification, WHMIS, and Food Safe are assets
• Certification in Building Maintenance 1 is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required
• Possess strong skills within the scope of performing custodial duties
• Have good conflict resolution skills
• Willingness to take training to develop in the field of work

• Wage: $23.50 to $33.35 hourly
• Hours on an as needed basis
• May include days, evenings, and weekends
