Village Farms Sanitation Technician

Contribute to Village Farms' mission as a Sanitation Technician. Your expertise in keeping production areas clean will be essential in our plant-based operations.

As a Sanitation Technician, you will ensure compliance and cleanliness in production zones. This includes using industrial cleaning tools and techniques while working closely with the Sanitation team to maintain hygiene standards.

Your role is critical to supporting our Master Sanitation Schedule and ensuring a safe environment for all. Commitment to safety practices and exceptional cleaning skills are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cleaning using various sanitation equipment

• Follow SSOPs and GMPs for all responsibilities

• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock as needed

• Report safety hazards and equipment conditions promptly

• Maintain organized work areas for audit readiness

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial roles

• Understanding of food safety regulations

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Physical ability to lift and handle cleaning tools
