Sanitation Associate

Position: Sanitation Associate Job Opportunity
Village Farms seeks a dedicated Sanitation Associate to maintain high sanitation standards in production areas. This hands-on role is essential for ensuring compliance and hygiene on-site.

In this position, you will perform routine cleaning tasks to uphold the Master Sanitation Schedule and assist with maintaining a clean, organized facility. Your daily duties will involve operating cleaning equipment, managing stock levels of supplies, and supporting compliance with health and safety procedures. You'll work closely with a team driven by a shared vision of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sweeping, mopping, and cleaning activities

• Safely operate floor cleaning machines

• Follow SSOPs and GMPs diligently

• Complete checklists for cleanliness and compliance

• Assist Housekeepers in non-production cleaning tasks

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

• WHMIS certification required

• Experience with cleaning equipment is a plus

• Knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols

• Ability to handle physical demands throughout the shift
