Join a leading manufacturer of shipboard systems as a Mechanical and Pneumatic Technician. This hands-on role spans both in-shop assembly and on-board service work.
Our client seeks a versatile technician with strong mechanical aptitude for dynamic fieldwork and in-shop tasks. You'll assemble and calibrate components, conduct repairs, and perform installations on ships. Experience in control logic and troubleshooting is key for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble, test, and calibrate mechanical and pneumatic parts
• Overhaul components through disassembly and inspection
• Follow technical service procedures and maintain documentation
• Conduct mechanical installations on board ships
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems effectively
Requirements:
• Background in millwright, mechanics, or HVAC
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
• Own CSA-approved safety footwear and mechanic’s tools
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation
